SALARY RANGE: CAD 46,523 - 60,583  per annum* 

          *Depending on experience. Portion of annual compensation is variable and performance-based.

JUMP! offers a series of leadership activities suited for students at international schools and universities, including in-school workshops (JUMP! Schools programs) and outdoor adventure trips (JUMP! JUMP! PROGRAMS


JUMP! Connected:

World-class innovative virtual educational experiences take place through Zoom and engage students in interactive activities to explore leadership, community connections and Global Citizenship in a virtual environment.


JUMP! Schools:

High-impact programs which take place on a school campus. JUMP! Schools programs are typically 2-5 days in length and explore leadership training, facilitation training, design thinking, and global citizenship education.


JUMP! Experiences: 

Off-campus programs take students out of the classroom and into the field. Programs are typically 1-2 weeks in length and take students out of their comfort zone; be it hiking in the Himalayas, or exploring history and culture in Indonesia.


JUMP! Impact:

Through the JUMP! Impact Fund, JUMP! partners with local NGOs to implement social innovation programs where under-resourced youths receive training, design Impact Projects for their communities, and implement their projects with seed funding and mentorship. To date, JUMP! Impact has served over 3,000 youth in Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

    KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

    The Senior Program Manager will have competence and flexibility in a variety of responsibilities relating to program Management and administrative support, including but not limited to:


    Program Management:

    • Operate as a Senior Program Manager, Managing, overseeing and executing on the Program Management process for all assigned programs.
    • Coaching Program Managers in managing Facilitation Teams (pre- program, on program & post program)
    • Operating within the Risk Management System (Risk Assessment, Risk Management Plans, Reporting & Emergency Response)
    • Monitoring and Evaluation of program (Surveys, Impact analysis & End of Program Report)
    • Managing the creation and tailoring of Program Resources including Program Specific Handbooks for Students, Educators and Facilitators.
    • Support with Partnership Development and contribute to revenue generation
    • Manage and oversee program financial processes, and perform to financial management KPIs for Programs.
    • Manage information relating to Program Locations, and location specific training for staff
    • Provide mentorship and training to Contract Facilitators
    • Facilitate on JUMP! Schools and JUMP! Experiences programs as needed
    • Manage Interns


    Administrative Support:

    • Manage enrollment registrations for Educo camp (summer programs)
    • General preparation of and revisions to office documents/forms, occasional printing and scanning
    • Write grant applications for relatively straightforward grants and assist with complex/difficult grants
    • Maintain social media presence (post regularly on social media & update website as needed)
    • Assist with marketing and fundraising initiatives


    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • 3+ years of experience in program management of experiential education programs
    • Passion for working with youth
    • Background in experiential education, program design and facilitating off campus programs
    • Self starting and welcomes personal and professional development
    • Attentive to detail, task oriented, resourceful, and able to meet deadlines
    • Strong interpersonal and networking skills
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Strong Excel skills
    • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
    • Group Facilitating & Supervision skills
    • Flexible and able to travel within BC


    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Outdoor Leadership experience and/or training
    • Self starting and welcomes personal and professional development
    • Strong interpersonal and networking skills
    • Prior experience living and working abroad, in multicultural contexts
    • Experience designing, developing and facilitating education youth programs
    • First Aid training
